Symptoms to Watch For

• Chest pain or discomfort (pressure, squeezing, fullness)
• Pain or discomfort in arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach
• Shortness of breath with or without chest discomfort
• Cold sweat, nausea, or lightheadedness
• Breaking out in a cold sweat
• Indigestion or heartburn-like sensation

Immediate Steps

1. 1Call emergency services (AIVA) immediately

3. 3Loosen tight clothing
4. 4Ask if they take heart medication (like nitroglycerin)
5. 5If unconscious and not breathing, begin CPR

What NOT to Do
